  • Combines self-assessment with anonymous feedback from colleagues, managers, and direct reports to show how your emotional intelligence is perceived by others compared to your own self-perception.

Meet your professional coach

Jessica DeBianchi Rivera knows what it's like to grow through pressure, change, and complexity because she's lived through it.

She's been a leader through three exits and worked as a C-suite operator, board member, lawyer, manager, and mentor, with experience spanning across teams and industries. All while raising four kids, caring for two sick parents, and staying anchored to what matters.

That experience taught her that change isn't your enemy. It's your invitation to reset, reinvent, and realign what you do with why it matters.

Jessica built Perivita to bring clarity, confidence, and empowerment to leaders seeking purposeful growth. Her approach combines board-certified coaching credentials, certifications in multiple leadership assessments (EQ-i 2.0®, CSI, EQ 360®), and the kind of strategic guidance that only comes from having lived experiences making high-stakes decisions in real-world leadership roles.

Past Clients Say…

“Jessica helped me find my footing fast after stepping into a new VP role with a new boss. We worked on communication, trust-building, and owning my leadership style with more clarity and confidence. She coached me through giving feedback, knowing when to listen, and building real rapport with senior leadership. I’m showing up stronger…and it’s being noticed.”

Professional Development Coaching FAQs

  • Coaching focuses on your future: where you want to go and what's keeping you from getting there. Therapy typically addresses past experiences and emotional healing. Mentoring provides advice from someone who's done what you want to do.

Leadership development coaching provides strategic guidance frameworks. We're collaborative thinking partners who provide structure and support, not passive listening.

  • You'll complete a comprehensive leadership assessment (EQ-i 2.0®, CSI, or EQ 360®) before we begin coaching. These assessments measure emotional intelligence, change adaptability, and leadership effectiveness. We spend a full session debriefing your results, identifying patterns, and designing your development focus. The insights inform our entire coaching engagement.

  • No. Many clients start with "I want to be more effective" rather than a specific goal. The assessment process helps us identify your highest-leverage development opportunities and prioritize what will create the most meaningful impact. If you do have specific goals, we'll use the assessment data to design the most effective path to get there.

  • Start with a Focused Coaching Session. It's a low-commitment way to experience the approach, gain immediate value, and decide if longer-term work makes sense.
